Arsenal are believed to be leading the chase for River Plate player Falcao.
Top rivals Manchester United have also been linked with the 22-year old front man, all through the summer and were known to be strong contenders for the signing.
However, now with Gunners key striker Emmanuel Adebayor nearly on the verge of departing from the Emirates Stadium for La Liga Side Barcelona, boss Arsene Wenger may consider a swoop for Falcao.
Falcao has been impressive for River Plate, having scored 38 goal in 58 appearances.
