Arsenal Boss Wenger Cites Real Madrid, While Telling Clubs To Abide By Transfer Rules

Arsenal, Manchester United Premiership Manager News

Arsene Wenger has once again spoken out his thoughts about abiding by the rules in the transfer market.

Real Madrid are the side, one would look at first in this regards, because of the present Cristiano Ronaldo saga, where Manchester United are disturbed with the way the Spanish giants have made their approach.

The La Liga Champions have also peeped into Wenger’s side, as star midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu on more than one occassion.

However, Wenger has revealed that he has no problems whatsoever, but has strongly recommended that all clubs must stick to the rules.

"I have no special problems with Real Madrid," said Wenger.

"The rules are quite clear, if you want to buy a player who is under contract you call the club and ask how much they want and are you ready to sell.

"If the answer is no then they do not need to speak to the player. No is no.”

"It is the same for Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal or anybody else. Arsenal is not more an angel than Real Madrid.”

"If you ask me about Ronaldo then it is entirely down to Manchester United. If they want to sell, they sell. If they don’t want to sell, they don’t because Ronaldo has extended his contract.

"It is a problem between Real Madrid and Manchester United."
