Indian billionaire businessman Anil Ambani is reported to be intent on buying a Premiership club based in London with West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur said to be the options.

According to the Mirror, the 49-year-old, who is the sixth richest man in the world, is likely to go for £150million Hammers than £500m-worth Tottenham. It is reported that Anil Ambani flew into Heathrow on Wednesday with the specific intent of making a move for a capital club.

Anil Ambani, who is the head of his faction of Reliance group after splitting from elder brother Mukesh Ambani - the fifth richest man in the world and owner of an Indian Premier League cricket team Mumbai Indians; had also been linked with a move for Newcastle, Liverpool and Everton.
