AC Milan Linked With Arsenal’s Fabregas & Liverpool’s Agger

Arsenal, Liverpool Premiership Transfer News

AC Milan are being linked with Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas and Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

The Italian giants are reported to have held a meeting with the agent of Spanish international midfielder Fabregas, whose contract with the Gunners runs 2014.

Reports in Spain claim that 21-year-old Fabregas' agent Darren Dein had talks with Milan as the club president Silvio Berlusconi is said to be a big admirer of the former Barcelona trainee.

On Denmark international Agger, reports are rife that the Serie A powerhouse are keen to bolster their defence and the 23-year-old, who is said to be Milan’s target, looks in a delicate contract situation at Anfield where he is in negotiations on extending his stay.

However, Agger is now playing regularly for the Reds following injury to Martin Skrtel and is likely to sign an extension to his contract apparently if his wage demands are met.

As such, Milan seem to have another defensive target in Gunners’ deposed skipper William Gallas. The 31-year-old former Chelsea centre-back had however, claimed that he would like to return to his homeland France, and it remains unclear whether he would move to Italy for another adventure.
