Chelsea travel to Birmingham City for the opening match, while Fulham host Tottenham Hotpsur in their London derby, with West Ham United hosting Portsmout and Burnley v Bolton Wanderers kicking-off at 2pm.

Sunderland host Everton, Blackburn Rovers travel to Wigan Athletic, and Roberto Mancini takes charge of his first match as Citizens boss, when Manchester City face Stoke City at Easlands.

The final match of the day is Liverpool v Wolves, which kicks-off at 17:30pm (GMT).
