West Ham United, currently in 17th place in the Premiership, host 11th placed Burnley in their Premier League match at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday afternoon.

West Ham United have won just two matches, with five draws in their 13 matches so far this season, and are currently struggling near the relegation zone.

They face a Burnley side who are looking for their first win on the road since gaining promotion to the Premier League and (depending on other results) could move up to 9th place in the EPL with a win.

West Ham will be without skipper Matthew Upson, who suffered a hamstring injury while training with The Hammers squad on Wednesday, with Danny Gabbidon likely to deputise, while striker Marco Diamanti (hip) is also unavailable.

The good news for Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola is that both Mark Noble and James Tomkins will be available after recovering from calf and groin strains respectively, while Herita Ilunga is also fit.

But Zola will still be without long-term absentees Dean Ashton, Luis Boa Morte and Calum Davenport.

Burnley have no new injury concerns for the match, but Clarets boss Owen Coyle is still without the services of Jay Rodriguez (ankle), while Martin Paterson and Craig McCann both have knee injuries. Otherwise Burnley have a full squad to choose from.

West Ham United (team to be chosen from): Green, Kurucz, Faubert, Da Costa, Gabbidon, Daprela, Tomkins, Ilunga, Spector, Noble, Parker, Cole, Hines, Stanislas, Franco, Behrami, Collison, Payne, Jimenez, Dyer.

Stoke City (team to be chosen from): Jensen, Mears, Jordan, Carlisle, Caldwell, Bikey, Alexander, Eagles, Elliott, Blake, Fletcher, Nugent, Duff, Guerrero, Gudjonsson, McDonald, Thompson, Penny.
