Manchester City, currently in 4th place in the EPL, face 10th placed Burnley in their Premier League match at Eastlands on Saturday afternoon.

City haven’t registered a win in their last four Premier League matches, with four draws on the bounce, while Burnley are yet to register a point on the road this season.

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes welcomes back former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who has recovered from an ankle injury, and his former fellow Gunners teammate defender Kolo Toure for the match.

But left-back Wayne Bridge is a major doubt after suffering with a knee problem, while Paraguayan striker Roque Santa Cruz is also rated as having a “50-50” chance of featuring in the match.

But out for The Citizens will be Brazilian striker Robinho who, despite having started training again after recovering from an ankle/foot injury, is unavailable, as are Nedum Onuoha (thigh) and Michael Ball (foot).

There are no further injury concerns for Man City boss Hughes, with Carlos Tevez, Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips all fit to start in attack.

Burnley are without midfielder Chris McCann and striker Martin Paterson, with both players suffering from knee injuries, while fellow striker Jay Rodriguez is also out for The Clarets.

Burnley boss Owen Coyle is hoping that former Manchester City centre-back Stephen Jordan will have recovdered from a thigh injury sustained in Burnley’s 2-0 win over Hull City last weekend.
