Match Fixtures - Upcoming Fixtures For The 2007-2008 English Premier League
The upcoming Premiership match fixtures for the 2007/08 Premier League season.
The final week of the 2007/08 English Premier League season sees battles at both ends of the Premiership table, with Manchester United and Chelsea both battling for the Premiership title on the last day of the season.
Manchester United and Chelsea both face potentially tough fixtures, with Manchester United travelling to The JJB to face Wigan Athletic, and Chelsea hosting Bolton Wanderers, who need to avoid a heavy defeat to be certain of remaining in the Premier League for the 2008/09 season.
At the business end of the table Fulham, who currently lie just one place above the relegation zone in 17th place on 33 points travel to Portsmouth for their final game of the season.
Fellow relegation contenders Birmingham City, currently in 19th place on 32 points, need at least a point at home against Blackburn Rovers to have any chance of remaining in the EPL, with a win still not enough to guarantee safety.
Reading, who also hover in the relegation zone, just one point ahead of Birmingham City on 33 points, travel to meet relegation doomed Derby County, who are just playing for pride, but Reading's vastly inferior goal-difference to their other relegation contenders could work against them.
The 2007/08 season is proving to be one of the most exciting seasons in memory, with so many things to play for in the final games of the season.
