Fulham, also known as The Cottagers or The Whites, are managed by former Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez, who took over from Chris Coleman towards the end of the 2006/07 season. Founded in 1879, Fulham FC are the oldest professional football team in London, but lack success compared to their fierce local rivals Chelsea FC.

Fulham finished the 2006/07 season in 16th place in the league, finishing just one point above the relegation zone. Lawrie Sanchez has made some major changes to squad during the 2007 summer transfer window, and will be hoping to guide the club to beating their best ever finish of ninth in the table in 2003/04.
